Mayor
Junior has become the mascot for the Northern Kentucky
Women's Crisis Center's pet protection program. Pets
of battered woman can now stay in safe houses for
30 days. "Junior will be a face for our program,"
said Kim Adams, executive director of the Women's
Crisis Center.

Joseph Academy in Walton, Kentucky officially dedicated
an Underground Railroad Memorial in Rabbit Hash on
Monday, March 21: 2005. On hand for the ceremony was:
Mayor Junior, former Boone County Judge-Executive
Bruce Ferguson, Bishop Foys of the Covington Diocese,
and representatives from the Governor's Office and
the National Underground Railroad Museum. The marker
sits on the banks of the Ohio River, directly behind
the barn, facing 'freedom' -- Rising Sun, Indiana. |
